Patty Meagher is a passionate champion of entrepreneurs, with over 20 years of experience spanning venture capital, investment banking, and technology. Recognized in 2009 as “one of the great women to know in the NYC venture space” on Quora, Patty concluded her tenure at Dakota Ventures with a multi-hundred-million-dollar exit, setting the stage for her impactful work in fostering innovation.

In 2010, Patty immersed herself in building Connecticut’s innovation ecosystem. As a co-founder of the Stamford Innovation Center, which launched in 2012, she earned a CT Woman of Innovation nomination for her contributions. Patty’s leadership continued with CTnext, where she advised high-growth IT, biotech, and climate tech startups as Technology Startup Advisor with CTSBDC. Under her guidance, her portfolio companies raised over $200 million in their first decade.

Patty’s entrepreneurial expertise extends to NeuroEM Therapeutics, where she joined the startup team in 2016 to advance a neuromodulatory treatment for Alzheimer’s disease. As VP of Business Development in 2020 and now Community Advocate, she continues driving transformative health innovations.

An active angel investor, Patty is a member of the Angel Investor Forum and has served on the Global Advisory Board for Astia, supporting women entrepreneurs. Her career also includes leadership roles with Dakota Ventures, European investment banks, and top-tier firms like IBM and AT&T. Patty holds a Master’s from Wharton and completed undergraduate studies at Colorado College and CU-Boulder. She remains dedicated to empowering the next generation of innovators.
