Rob Baranowski

Chief Engineer

Rob Baranowski is the president and founder of Left Coast Engineering (Escondido, CA), where he leads many custom electronic and mechanical product designs, from concept into manufacturing.

With more than 30 years in product development, Rob brings many lessons learned to new R&D projects, solving problems through technology development. His expertise applies to medical device, military, industrial and commercial sectors. He has extensive hardware design experience in wireless design, power, audio, controllers, location-aware and sensors. His software development experience involves user interfaces, drivers and applications. He led the design, test to FDA standards, and production of the Generation 1 (G1) MemorEM head devices utilized in NeuroEM’s pilot clinical trial.

Rob is an inventor on more than 25 issued patents, including two that relate to creating the very first app in 1999 for navigation and scheduling your theme park day. Previously, he was with Sony and Motorola in their cellular hardware design and special projects groups. He holds a Masters of Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.
